We got a puppy! Tyler wanted a little black puppy, and we found this guy on Craigslist. He is so sweet. We also looked at a different dog on Craigslist who was older. But when we met him, he barked incessantly. The family explained that he has behavioral problems and is really scared of everyone he doesn't know. He was going to need so much training, and we just felt it was too much. We met Daryl the next day. He came from a great home and was so energetic and sweet and loving right from the start. We got the $300 cash our right away and took him home. We re-named him Pippen. It took a little bit of time for Vivee to earn up to him, but now they are absolutely nest friends and inseparable. We love him!

Valentine's Day 2017
Today we both had the day off. Valentine's Day fell on a Tuesday. Tyler always has two days off with his work schedule. I was able to get today off as well as an alternate Presidents Day Holiday. Can you look me up at about 7:30 after having a terrible dream. We got up at about 9:30 went out to do some last-minute shopping, and came back with cinnamon rolls and donuts. We gave busy her present and Tyler played with her. I had a surprise for Tyler. I put the address of our location where we were going in my phone and we went rock climbing at an indoor rocks Climbing Gym, sauna in Garden City. We both had coupons $5 credit on our generation accounts, so we went and got our free Gyros. Yum! Then we drove around a couple of neighborhoods like we like to do, then 1/2 Cordoba and gods buy one get one free burritos. We came back and ate and opened presents. I got Tyler some patients it ended up working, and did not.

Today was day 4 of being sick in bed. I missed church so as not to make anyone else sick. Tyler taught Sunday school by himself and said the kids were great. One boy volunteered to run to the library for chalk and scripures. Tyler had everyone join chairs into a circle and said the discussion was good.
He then spent 2 hours shoveling the driveway so that I would no longer be stranded and would be able to take the Envoy for errands and such. I am so grateful, although I feel bad because his back is hurting now. With his stomach pain and getting a CT earlier this week, he was ordered to not do anything strenuous for a few weeks. I hope he doesn't hurt too bad. He said he "feels like a man now" though.
Jessica invited us over to watch the Superbowl and Caitlin and her family was there too. It was potluck style, but Tyler and I had been been too sick to prepare anything other than chips and salsa. I am still not fully recovered, but I'm grateful to no longer have the pounding headache that made me take off on Thursday and Friday.
My appetite isn't fully back, but I wanted to eat something other than rice.
Winter is hard. I'm really dreading work tomorrow. It's always hard to start again on Monday, but even more so after a vacation or long weekend.
Winter is hard. I'm feeling a bit in a slump, having a hard time finding motivation and energy to do things, including pushing through a work day, especially if I'm having some tough appointments. I'm trying the approach of being easy on myself and not getting too upset when I am not able to reach my goals, such as making dinner, doing exercise/yoga, or chores. Tyler is really patient with me and he doesn't get upset if something isn't done around the house or dinner isn't made. I'm trying to just push myself to do my best, but to not stress out if I am late to something or if I don't feel up to doing an errand. Tyler also has helped me with pretty much all the errands. He has brought me dinner a lot lately when I haven't had the energy to cook. I ought to be pretty grateful for my guy.

At one point, all the nieces gathered around Tyler and were poking him. It was cute.
So, back in the beginning of December, we gave Lilly this doll at her birthday party. Caitlin said that she's been taking the doll everywhere and taking care of it ever since then.

Sick day/Groundhog day
I took of a full sick day today for the first time in almost 4 years. I think I have some kind of flu or fever. I've had a headache most of the day, along with chills, coughing, phlegm, stuffy and runny nose. Less appetite than usual. Be. When Tyler came home, we watched groundhog day, which is Tyler's tradition.

Sick
I started feeling feverish yesterday around when I was finishing work. I felt okay through my dinner with my visiting teachers, but when I got home at about 8 o'clock, I really lost all energy, felt light headed and my throat was super sore. Tyler woke up this morning with a ton of stomach pain. He had lower abdominal pain at the end of last week for several days, including Sunday. He had seemed to get better, but now it's back again. He talked to the doctor at his work who recommended he get a CT scan. It came back normal, but he is still in a lot of pain so we don't really know what's wrong. I am still having fever and cold symptoms. No energy, light headed, very sore throat and coughing up phlegm. I hope that we feel better soon!

The envoy is working again!
The envoy has had a dead battery for about six weeks. Today Tyler replaced the battery in the Envoy. He did it all by himself and he did a great job!
I went to dinner with my visiting teachers at Zupas. It was so delicious. I am feeling like I'm getting a cold, so my appetite is down a little bit.

Tyler went to the movies with a friend for $1 Tuesday and they had a great time.

Pottery spree please
In Rexburg, I bought a bunch of pottery made by BYU Idaho Art majors who took Ceramics classes. I thought the pieces were so beautiful and unique! I bought an entire box of stuff . I bought a lot of great vases well as ornaments. The coolest vase in my opinion had these great designs that were created by actual horse hair burned into the ceramic. The horse hair had been donated by the agriculture Department I also got some fantastic ring holders!
