A new dining set

Tyler spent pretty much all Saturday putting together a brand new dining set and cleaned up the whole living and kitchen area! It was a big mess because vivee had gotten stuffing everywhere. And there was a bunch of trash from assembling the dining set. Then he went out and bought ingredients at the grocery store on Saturday night and made lunch on Sunday. It was spaghetti with a completely homemade sauce. It was super yummy!

The Farmstead

Last night, we went to The Farmstead. It was in Meridian. The Alphonsus paid for all the employees to be able to go with a guest. It was super crowded! .

You can see the candy crush cannon in the background. It was scary! There was a countdown and then it shot one massive blow of candy that went everywhere! I did not want to be in the candy landing zone, but Tyler wanted to be and I didn't want to stand alone. After the cannon shot, Tyler bent down to get a piece, then got hit in the back of the head! He said it really hurt, poor guy.

We went on this little ride with a tractor pulling all these little wooden carts. It was very wobbly but fun.

We went in the cornmaze as it was really getting dark and we were getting super lost and couldn't even find the entrance for awhile. Tyler really wanted to successfully complete the maze by finding the exit, but it was getting so dark, and I just wanted to get out! Luckily we made it back to the entrance! Btw the corn maze was shaped like Idaho and Jimmy falon. Jimmy falon found that funny.

We didn't purchase any pumpkins, but took our pic with some anyway.

We sat in the car for about 30 minutes because we were done with the activities at the farmstead, but Tyler remembered that they were going to have fireworks at 8:30. The fireworks were fantastic! Great big ones and it was a long show with lots of colors and variety. We were hungry and went to tacos at this place El Rey's Tacos. Tyler said it means King Tacos. Tyler raves over how yummy they are, and I thought they were OK 😋

Pillows, Jam, dining set, rugs

On Saturday we got some new pillows and a toy for Vivee. We also stopped in at World Market and ended up buying four rugs. They were 60% off, plus we got another 30% discount that was going on at the time. We came back later that day and ended up buying a dining set as well! We pick it up tomorrow. Then we stopped in at the Harvest Dance and loaded up a bunch of appetizers and desserts. I did the Electric Slide, but Tyler didn't quite pick up on it. Today, my visiting teachers came over and helped me make homemade jam. It is absolutely delicious and we were able to customize it exactly how I wanted it. We made it chunky and sugar free. It is so good! I'm really glad that I have great visiting teachers, it kind of makes up for how much I miss our old Ward.

Chiropractor update and falafels

Tyler seems to be making progress at the chiropractor, and goes to appointments about twice a week. Poor guy is very sore and tired most days. I hope the chiropractor really makes a difference and he starts feeling better for good. I made falafels for the first time today. Vegan, of course. Server them in a warmed pita with chopped tomatoes and homemade hummus. Yum! I will add some more flavors to the falafels next time, but they were pretty good for my first try.

Conference, berry nice cream

Today we took a walk for the first time since the half marathon. And my hips are still super sore! Tyler is still in pain from the accident. Hoping that the chiropractor helps with that. I made berry nice cream this morning and broke a wooden spoon in the blender. I really need a food processor for this type of thing. Watched conference, took a drive in our new hybrid and got 50 miles to the gallon! Caught up with Mom, Dad, and Kara. Talked to little Blake

, and he said that he will try to marry me, but only after college. And his mission.

Conference and chores

Today was the day for chores and Conference. Saturday afternoon session had really good talks, and it was too bad that we couldn't have been there in person with Julia and Matt. I did get the closet pretty much all organized, and made a lot of progress on the bathroom shelves and

drawers as well.
